  • From the moment we arrived we've felt welcome, comfy and 'at home'. It's a FANTASTIC set up, with a great welcome pack,a lovely Christmas tree and even a gift each; we couldn't have been happier. None of us want to leave! The cottage is modern, stylish, homely and (very) clean. Would *definitely* return/recommend. Thank you. And all the best for 2020. xxx

  • Our second visit to the cottage (the visit in May was just fabulous). What can we say that hasn't already been said - beautifully appointed - complete with a Christmas tree! Had a lovely Sunday lunch at the Three Choirs Vineyard and bought much wine to take home. Can also recommend the Good News Cafe in Newent and Lily's in Gloucester. May Hill is well worth a climb (lunch at The Glasshouse). Delightful once again.

  • We had a lovely long weekend at Tibberton cottage and the accommodation was faultless. The cottage is beautifully appointed and immaculately clean. The hosts Katie and Stephen have really thought everything through and the information file that they have put together is really impressive. The area itself is lovely and there are some beautiful walks nearby, it is also very well placed for visiting Gloucester or any of the sites in and around the Wye valley and the Forest of Dean. Just be aware that the local pubs seem to shut at 10 and everything is closed on Sunday in the local towns!

  • Very privileged to amongst the first guests in this lovely cottage, generously stocked and well equipped for self-catering. It's very peaceful both inside and outside. Katie & Stephen are aimiable and unobtrusive hosts. Delightful and thoughtful welcome pack with 'treats' well appreciated (esp the local ones). Loved being mainly upstairs and hare spotting was a real surprise. Good base for visiting towns of character, taking walks and visiting bird reserves. Loved Beechenhurst. Local map good for walks - so many footpaths to choose!

  • This is a very comfortable and characterful holiday cottage in Tibberton. We used it for a family event in Tibberton and it was a perfect choice for our needs. It is well situated for day trips to Cheltenham and Gloucester as well as for exploring the Forest of Dean with its many delightful villages, pubs and restaurants. The Three Choirs Vineyard is also only a few miles away, which is well worth a visit for its wines and restaurant. Tibberton itself is a very rural farming community and a perfect place for getting away from the stresses of every day life.
The cottage has been recently converted from a barn and so is very well equipped and modern inside. It has a lovely private garden with table and chairs for eating outside in good weather. In May time the blossom trees were a real treat.
I would definitely recommend this cottage and would certainly use it again to explore the area in more detail using the many public footpaths close by.
Tibberton itself does not have a shop, pub or restaurant, but there are many of these in the locality and they are easily accessible by car.
In short, this is a great, peaceful location, ideal for enjoying the countryside or for a day trip to one of the local historical cities.

  • We stayed here with our grown up son and partner. It was everything we could wish for. The two bedrooms were spacious and the beds very comfortable. The upstairs sitting room was delightful with fabulous views over the surrounding hills. We really appreciated the use of the garden and enjoyed a meal outside in the evening sunshine.
The cottage is immaculate and newly renovated and has everything you could wish for. The added touches of a welcome pack and home made cake were very appreciated. The layout of the cottage is ideal for a family with children and the owners have had thought to the safety of young children in the kitchen..
    Would absolutely recommend.

  • Peaceful countryside cottage ideal for couples, families, walkers & cyclists.
  • 'Best of both' location: stay in rolling countryside but be in the City of Gloucester within 10mins.
  • An ideal base for exploring the Forest of Dean, Cotswolds, Malvern Hills & Wye Valley.
